I am the problem here my sister. Small problem means a lot to me. I cant even get of them inside my mind. I was diagnosed with Clinical Anxiety Disorder, and I am under a particular therapy in order to rebot my confidence. However, I am so lazy to do things and unmotivated. I have this husband, who I married last march, he is a very religious guy, and I cant seem to provide him the things he needs. I am mentally disturbed of not giving him the due things he need! I know nothing, and mostly my religion! I just cant take it! I am always wishing and hoping that someone could come by and take my life. I know its not very easy to day, especially for me, who has this little faith. I am much more afraid to face Allah (swt), cause I couldn't face HIM....but I dont know have the control!

assalamo alaykom sis, I hope you'll feel better soon.

You've posted on this forum on a few occasions, you're still suffering from the same thing.
This might sound odd to you, or as 'uncommon', or strange.

But you're exuding all the signs of someone who is inflected with a curse(i.e. blackmagic) to break up a mirage.

Not sure whether you've gone to the Mosque or not, I doubt it, but I would recommend you go and seek an Imam at your local Mosque, and tell him what you're experiencing, he'll be able to help insha'Allah.

Good luck, and God bless.

Sister I too have been disgnosed with clinical depression and anxiety in the past. I know what it is to feel helpless and like nothing I do will make anything good happen. I know what it is like to feel like I am not enough. I know what it means to feel like I am lost.

But I ask you a question sister. "How can you find yourself if you never lost yourself?"

The answer is this: Some journeys of the heart, are necessary to go through. They facilitate a better understanding. If we all concentrated on what we like, what we are good at - and never concentrated on bettering ourselves ont he things we are not good at - how can we become balanced?

The best thing to do my dear sister, is to wake up in the last portion of the night, and offer two rakah salatul Tahajjud, and cry your eyes out when you are in Sujood (when the head touched the ground). Stay there for as long as you like. Allah is with you, he is closer to you than your jugular vein sister. HE knows all. And by your sincerity, HE knows you, HE answer you. HIS answers come, but they come in ways only you will instinctively recognize.

Allah descends to the lowest sky at the time of Tahajjud, and ask all HIS slaves, "Who is there praying and worshipping me at this hour? I am ready to forgive you" (this is to the nearest meaning).

Just think, this is Allah telling us that HIS favour is upon us.

Sister, there is a book that I read which helped me to get over my anxiety / depression. It is called "Don't be sad" it is from an Islamic perspective.

Here is the download link for the book: http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33633 You can download the entire book in PDF format here for free. It is one of the best books I have read. And I recommend it to you my dear sister. Never lose hope ok?

Finally, whatever medications these doctors are giving you, tell them that you want to come off them. They only make the problem worse in the end. I know, I have been there too.

Please keep in touch with us in this thread dear sister. My heart goes out to you for the situation you find yourself in. I promise to check back here often and read and reply.

Brother Scimitar

EDIT: Brother Bushwack made a good judgemnet call. Please don't ignore his advice.

We will keep you in our duas.

This is very true. I hurt as I write. This sister wrote something very personal to her. She is at her wits end. Reminds me of me when this happened:

http://www.wup-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=21989

So naturally, you can see why I am feeling her pain. She is my sister after all. We should all make Dua for her. We're an international community of many races, Allah will know our intent and our actions - and grant sister Eureka HIS mercy, because HE sees that we all care. That's what I believe.

Very good advice from all...Good observation bushwack & a very sincere response to a very sincere call scimi
Jazakm Allah khayr.

I pm'd her to read surat albaqarah for 30 days non stop because it cures a'yn, sehr and most importantly the house where surah albaqarah is read is a house that shaytan cannot enter. Its not easy to read 49 pages , but when spread over 5 prayer times thats 10 pages 5x a day and it gets easier as one reads. Plus theres something almost medicinal and calming in reading or hearing the Quran. I can understnd that not understanding arabic is a huge hurdle and ive come to learn that many translations of Quranic arabic are sadly not accurate and this is noticed by arabic speakers who read the translations.
Im not saying this to disparage reading the Quran aáouthubillah! im just pointing out that its beauty and serenty is enchanced when the poetry and symetry is fully grasped, which leads me to suggest that you attend tafseer sessions.
If you can with your husband then all the better if not and he doesnt mind you going then by all means go and attend you will find more therapy in that then you will ever in a perscription sachet.

For all who have anxiety problems id like to point out that its not all in your head!! Its actually a physical condition that is treatable

We globally (and deliberately) are deprived from magnesium (this explains why we dont absorp vitamin d)
Low Magnesium is the number 1 cause of depression!
The pharmacutical cartels that benefit gazillion dollars off those little perscription 'anti anxiety - anti depression' pills deliberately in tandem with food companies have stripped magnesium from our food chain
starting with animal feed, to fertilizers...our dairy , meat and veggies have no magenisum which is a natural calming element in our bodies.

Assalamu 'alaikum, sister. Must be a difficult time for you to act what should/shouldn't do...
Agreed with bro Bushwack that you need to go to nearby masjid & consult with an Imam/trusted ustadz in there. Or IMO you might need to breath in and out, and probably sit down without noises from outside. Take a moment to relax or perform a prayer with more remembering of Allah. Inshallah you'll get calmer than before.

I'll pray that Allah showers you a blessings and guidance for your hectic problems. :)

Never ever despair as Allah swa is always with us. My heart is saddened to see that things haven't improved. May Allah swa improve your situation and give you the strenght to motivate your body to carry on with this journey we all have to take.

I know we as women worry a lot about whether we are 'wifey' material and whether we are fulfilling our daily duties and roles etc - the best thing to do is to talk to your hubby regarding this matter. He married you for a reason sister so he must definately care and love you as much as he can so please don't burden yourself and don't keep these thoughts to yourself. Talk to your hubby and insha Allah, he will calm you down and help/guide you insha Allah - ;)

Start loving yourself and take time your for yourself to do all the things you used to and want to do - like swimming, cricket, basketball, reading, learning a new skill, helping the needy, making people smile etc. Seriously sister it really helps - am talking from experience here.

Focus on your compulsory duties such as salaah, making your hubby happy, fasting, hajj (if you can afford it - maybe even go to hajj insha Allah because it may well cure you with the will of Allah swa) etc. Don't ever neglect what is required of you.

Unfirtunately just be reading your post my dear sister i feel you are letting the shaytaan win and control YOUR emotions. Dear sister Allah swa has placed emotions in us women and we need to make a conscious effort of our mood swings, how we feel and try and determine why we feel that way etc. Make a conscious effort to find yourself and make a mental note of how you feel in different situations.

Don't ever feel you need to isolate yourself trust me this is the trick of the shaytaan. An idol mind is one the shaytaan can easily win over so please don't you dare even think of negative thoughts. As soon as a negative thought comes in to your mind quickly say in the name of Allah swa and i seek refuge from the cursed one the shaytaan (in arabic insha Allah) and replace it with a positive one :D it works wonders this does sister - or even 'punish' yourself when you think negative of yourself or life etc by giving away something you value/treasure etc. This way i can guarantee you you won't ever think negative  Who wants to give away thier favourite pair of shoes or chocolate :P

please also read this link viewtopic.php?f=8&t=22123 (read the article do not be lazy, as this is another weapon of the cursed devil)

Do not let the shaytaan win dear sister! Wasn't our dear and blessed prophet muhammad salalahu alyhi wasalam tested and endured the most terrible of pains anyone can imagine???? who are we to complain my dear sister? Lets ask Allah swa to guide us and lets value and appreciate what we have i.e. hands, ears, mouth, tongue, height, the gitt to see, having a hubby, shelter etc Allah Hu Akbar - how can we ever trully thank Allah swa? we can't dear sister...

Dear sister i pray Allah swa makes your jouney easy, may Allah swa guide you and give you comfort and tranquility, may Allah swa release you of your worries and your burden, may Allah swa keep you safe & protected at all times, may Allah swa help you smile again and find some sort of comfort in this dunya. Ameen

Make a conscious effort to evaluate yourself everyday i.e. take control of what your tongue utters, what your mind thinks of (an idol mind is a shaytaan's tool to use & abuse you), what your eyes look at, what your ears hear, what your hands concern themselves in, which path your feet walk on etc BEFORE the final evaluation i.e. - Judgement day Allah Hu Akbar!

& All the best - I hope you and I receive our book in our right hand Ameen :-D
