another case of people blindly quoting from Hadith without double checking the context of at least 1 of them.

The story of Tamim al-Dari does not tell us 'gog and magog will consume the water of the lake of tiberias' BUT Dajjal does ask about the water. Why? not one of us know why, let's leave it at that and not add to it.

HOWEVER
Clearly, a hadith certainly exists where the Prophet SAW spoke in depth about the second coming of Isa AS...and it is in that Hadith where we're told, Gog and Magog will sweep the land and consume the water of the Lake.
In this Hadith, this takes place after Jesus AS has already killed Dajjal and Gog and Magog THEN appear.

Furthermore the Quranic ayats on the topic of Gog and Magog suggest clearly that it doesn't refer to modern Israel. Actually, the Bible even tells us about Gog and Magog and it certainly does not refer to modern Israel or even Khazars. Gog and Magog are another people altogether.

but you know what, whenever i say this, people on here go on the defensive, so clearly people wish to believe this and don't care about the finer details. Self-fulfillment of prophecy and all of that.

Despite rain, water crisis persists
By SHARON UDASIN
01/13/2012 03:59

Lake Kinneret's water level is 55 centimeters under the 213 meter red line, and a full 4.75 meters away from full capacity.

Although Lake Kinneret’s water level rose by 1.50 centimeters following Wednesday’s rain, measuring in at 213.55 meters below sea level on Thursday morning, there is still a water crisis, according to the Water Authority.

The water level is 55 centimeters under the -213- meter red line, and a full 4.75 meters away from full capacity. Only 1 centimeter of the rise between Wednesday and Thursday can be attributed to rain. The other half-centimeter is the result of a temporary halt in National Water Carrier pumping from the lake, as the system was closed for routine maintenance, Water Authority spokesman Uri Schor said.

“We rose 1 centimeter – that means we need about 475 more such days to fill the Kinneret,” Schor said.

The Kinneret, he stresses, is only one of three main water sources – the other two are the mountain and the coastal aquifers. In total, the country is short about 2 billion cubic meters of water, an amount equivalent to the consumption of all the households in Israel for three years.

“We are expecting a bit more rain, but the rain has not been as strong as we hoped it would be,” Schor said, noting that the winter season is already half over.

“We must continue to conserve water and to use water with maximum efficiency.”

Then why do members keep denying the facts and hard cold evidence?

They do?

Oh yeah, I see what you mean... yeah. Bro, sometimes it;s hard trying to convince those whose opinions and reasons for being here - don't completely agree with ours.

For example, there was a Jewish member here last year, Buffalo_Soldier... he was actually a very nice guy if I have to be honest. he joined because he wanted to find the truth like the rest of us (barring those agents). And yeah, he was anti-Zion, and all...

...But because he was a Jew, he had a hard time accepting any hadeeths or Quranic evidences that conflicted with his own understanding of the end times, as taught to him in his holy scripture...

^that's just one example... But you know, all types of examples exist between him and me, and you, and the next guy...

I mean, lol, look at us two - right? We're both Muslims, but maan, seeing eye to eye with each other is kinda proving impossible... but it's possible. I believe it is. I've had harder debates which degraded into more nonsense than you can imagine here, and managed to make friends with those I was arguing with... we discovered that we all are in different stages of development.

Some more advanced in some areas, others in others... we all got skills, we all want the truth. Little by little we can contribute - but to the right sections, so it is actually a contribution and not another thread that get's archived into history.

Anyway, that was my two dirhams worth.

You know why we don't see eye to eye with each other.

And others like you.

First you are friendly, and then you are not and then you are friendly and then you are not.

Pick a schism already.

Your duality is nauseating. (with all do respect).

And if you think or believe that I just dissed you there.

Then please refer to the Qur'an where Allah(SWT) describes such a people.

Salam.

I heard of the expression.

Just because people offer it. It does not mean they abide by it.

And you are right.

Allah(SWT) is witness between us and all things.

Alhamdullilah
