Hello to all. I am a practising homeopath in Bristol, UK. I ask the above question as from my understanding the mistreatment of sickness is major contribution to the developing problems of the world. The moment that symptoms are seen as a consequence of the body and mind malfunctioning then it is impossible to understand their true meaning. Nothing in the universe malfunctions, all is as it should be. The symptoms that people suffer are a consequence of them going astray from the true path. The symptoms come to warn and restrict the person to prevent further deviations. Overcoming the symptoms without understanding this allows the person to move further off the path. This has been going on for generations and now we see that the consequences of this are that the will of man has been perverted towards destruction. In truth we should welcome our symptoms and ask ourselves what are they showing me about myself.

Best wishes
Paaul

I think as weve come along history..man has made it more and more difficult to lead a healthy life. My dad and other elder people have always told me that 'back in the days' people were much more healthier than compared to now.

When you consider GM foods, modern life styles, and theories such as infected Vaccinations/chemitrails/flouride added water ....and so on.....its really no supprise that its not our body/system that has malfunctioned but rather us not taking care of it, which leads to problems.

Sometimes Allah / God allows illness so we can take better care of ourselves after.

"Each human being is the author of his own health or disease" - Siddarta Gautama

I haven't been seriously sick in a very long time. Occasional colds, runny noses (mostly a result of my oversized sinuses) and sore throats. I don't eat very healthy, I didn't really exercise much until a couple years ago, and I've been quite a healthy person. I put most of this into the fact that I never really rely on medicine to get the job done; whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Your body is naturally attuned to destroy sickness, then learn and adapt to destroy similar sicknesses as they come along. I let nature take it's course.

The official definition of a healthy by the World Health Organization, which defines the broad health state of physical, mental and social well-being, rather than just the elimination of disease or weak.

Rasool Allah(SAWS) said: "When you get sick it is a means of expiation for sins."

Whether they be minor or major sins being expiated is known by Allah(SWT) only.

It could be with the severity of the illness as to them being major or minor sins being expiated.

Allahu 3alam.
